  • Swiss Food Composition Database – for ingredients the BLS does not cover.

All nutrition figures are average values calculated from the databases named above, not laboratory measurements. Variety, origin, cut, storage, preparation and the quantities actually used all cause deviations; automatically matched ingredients can add further inaccuracy. The information on the packaging of the products you use takes precedence; in case of allergies, intolerances, illness, pregnancy or a special diet, consult a suitably qualified professional.

Instructions

  1. 1

Marinate the meat (thin fillets are best, lamb very finely cut). Bathe it in oil, salt, pepper, and other spices (e.g., cumin, chili, paprika, allspice) as desired, and coat it nicely on all sides.

  2. 2

Cut the bell peppers lengthwise (long green and "normal" red ones)

  3. 3

Throw everything onto the grill/into the pan and fry. If in the pan, use a lid, otherwise the meat will dry out.

  4. 4

    Eat.

  5. 5

Homemade mint sauce or tzatziki and (white) bread always go well with this.
